Public Workshop #2 Held

The City of Montgomery hosted the second public workshop for the Montgomery-Maxwell Air Force Base Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. The Draft JLUS was presented at the meeting, including maps showing areas affected. Attendees had an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments.

The overall goal of the JLUS is to protect the viability of current and future missions at Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex while accommodating growth, sustaining the economic health of the region, and protecting public health and safety.
